This year, we’re throwing something very special - our first ever UNICORNS: MARDI PARTY – NAARM EDITION! ✨

Every year we create a big Mardi Party on Gadigal Land to celebrate our collective queer history and welcome in queer Christmas. But this time, we thought… why not bring the good times to Naarm? A little treat for all the hunnies who can’t make the trip north - and for anyone keen on a cheeky little road-trip holi-gay filled with Unicorns magic and new queer connections.

The theme is Mardi Gras, so think classic queer Mardi vibes - maybe you dust off your favourite outfit from years past, throw on some angel wings, a jockstrap, giant neon Docs, or your fave carabiner. Pull out your MG best as we come together as a sparkly LGBTQIA+ community - honouring our histories, connecting with each other, and celebrating just how wonderful it is to be queer.

The lineup is stacked to the brim of our bubble tea, with DJs taking you on a journey through disco, house, hip hop, and finishing the night with delicious techno. You’ll also find all your favourite Unicorns traditions - body painting artists decorating you on arrival, eco-glitter sparkle angels, a zillion stage shows (including Sky Sirens’ very own Katia Schwartz, travelling here just for you!), and a collaborative art moment where we’ll write love letters and thank-yous to the 78ers.

Later in the night, our Kink Corner returns bigger than ever, featuring your fave Unicorns femme dommes alongside the iconic, latex-loving Melbourne Rubber crew and our newly crowned international rubber title holder.

I can’t wait to be back in a room with you all - soaking up those sparkly, healing Unicorns vibes and celebrating our beautiful community together.

I have a feeling this will be an extra special one.

Apply for a Share the Love. Each Unicorns event we set aside some free tickets for people who can’t afford a ticket this time around. Email us to apply at least 7 days before the event.
First Nations people are prioritised for these tickets.
