About the session:
This session will explore possible reasons for behaviours, taking into account developmental stages and individual differences.
It will explore ways for educators to be proactive in preventing behaviours from happening, ways for educators to engage with children and what educators can do to respond when big behaviours happen.
Facilitated by Melanie Martin - Inclusive Practice Coordinator (City of Kingston Family and Children's Centres)
Mel is a teacher with a passion for supporting families, children’s behaviour, children’s sensory needs and developing children’s communication skills. She has been working in education for almost 30 years in a variety of settings and capacities including early intervention, special education, mental health and early childhood.
