About this event

As part of your research proposal, you will be assessed on the significance of the research within your discipline, and also on the potential impact of your research to society. This session will discuss the value of research with impact, consider pathways to achieving impact and feature an interactive Research Impact Game with academic staff from different disciplines.

Learning objectives:

• Understand the difference between research significance, impact and translation

• Identify the different forms of impact and consider those that may be relevant to your research project

• Appreciate the value of undertaking research with impact

• Understand the potential pathways to achieving impact

This session is also a lecture in unit PRO6000 - Research Project 1.
