Understanding Menopause for Men & Partners

Understanding Menopause for Men & Partners

The Dial HouseReepham, England
Thursday, Feb 5, 2026 at 7 pm GMT
Overview

An informal session for men and partners to understand menopause, what their partner may be experiencing and how to offer meaningful support

Menopause doesn’t just affect women - it affects relationships, families, and life at home. This evening is for partners who want to better understand what menopause is, how it can show up day to day, and how to offer meaningful support.

Led by Tim Duncan from Norfolk Menopause, the session will cover what happens during peri- and post-menopause, common physical and emotional changes, and why this stage of life can feel confusing or challenging for couples. Tim will also share practical, down-to-earth ways partners can support their loved one at home - from communication and understanding to everyday wellbeing.

This is an informal, relaxed chat rather than a lecture, held in the cellar at The Dial House. The bar will be open beforehand, so you’re welcome to grab a beer or drink and bring it down, helping keep the conversation easy, open and approachable. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion.

The evening runs alongside the women’s menopause event and partners are strongly encouraged to attend. Understanding menopause makes a real difference - and support starts at home.

Organised by local residents Rose Levien and Sandra Seaman-Taylor, in partnership with Norfolk Menopause.
