Understanding Menopause: A Community Evening

Overview

A warm, informative session on peri- and post-menopause, symptoms, HRT and wellbeing, plus expert-led round-table discussions.

Join us for a warm, practical evening in Reepham focused on peri- and post-menopause - designed to help you make sense of what’s happening in your body and what can genuinely help.

The first half of the evening will be led by Norfolk Menopause, offering clear, evidence-based insight into the physical and emotional changes of peri- and post-menopause, what’s normal, and when to seek support - including clarity around HRT and treatment options.

The second half will be informal, round-table discussions focused on wellbeing, nutrition, HRT, and strength training. This is a chance to ask questions, share experiences, and connect with others in a supportive, non-judgemental setting. You’ll leave with practical next steps you can take away - and a sense of being part of a supportive local community.

The conversation continues on Thursday with a dedicated Men & Partners Evening. We strongly encourage partners to book onto this session too - understanding menopause makes a real difference, and support starts at home.

Click here to book your partners ticket for Thursday 5th February.

The evening is organised by local residents Rose Levien and Sandra Seaman-Taylor.
Sandra is a personal trainer with a background in dance, endurance, sport, pilates and bodybuilding (which she discovered at 39!). She helps women build strength, confidence, and clarity, in a supportive, friendly environment. She is passionate about sharing her experience and learnings with her community.
Rose comes from a place of learning together as a community, creating spaces where people feel supported, informed, and less alone.

A welcoming, informative evening - because no one should navigate menopause alone.

We’re grateful for the support of Norfolk Menopause, our venue The Dial House, and Bread Source, as well as our wonderful speakers Sharon Plummer, Beckie Clarke, and Cheontell Barnes, who are generously sharing their time, expertise, and experience to make this community event possible.
