About this Event

Dr. Edna Giuntini, a chiropractor with post graduate study in Move to Learn, the Interactive Metronome and The Melillo Method, will be presenting research and information on the connection between movement and learning. The workshop starts out providing you with background information regarding retained primitive reflexes, poor postural tone and how these can affect learning outcomes. She will share videos of patients with retained reflexes and low tone so you are familiar with what the tests look like, before we work with each other testing for retained primitive reflexes. We will spend the last part of the session discussing how to use this in the classroom and answering any further questions regarding the program. You will be provided with a USB containing the slides, reference books. research and forms that can be used in the classroom for individual children.
