Our 2.5 hour workshop is designed to offer comprehensive & relevant training for people in a client facing role to understand the rapidly changing pressures experienced by our clients.
Understanding Financial Hardship In Australia offers current information, insights into the economic pain points & financial pressures Australia is experiencing & why more & more Australians are financially excluded.
This session will guide you through:
- What does poverty look like in Australia.
- What are the factors causing increased financial vulnerability.
- Our own money values & how they impact our practice.
- Why so many Australians are financially excluded.
- Why so many turn to pay day loans, Buy Now Pay Later? Is there an alternative?
When: Wednesday 4th March, 9.30am to 12.00pm.
This session will be delivered by Zoom.
This session is funded through the Dept Community & Justice and the best thing is that it's FREE. There is no charge to attend this training.
Your trainer is Kathy Nemeth who has worked throughout her career in the community sector, including 18 years in financial inclusion supporting clients, workers and community organisations to deliver professional & informed practice.
