Tuross Head Flathead and Bream Tournament 2026
The Tuross Fishing Club Flathead & Bream Tournament is a prestigious estuary competition held on the beautiful Tuross River, South Coast NSW
The Tuross Head Fishing Club Flathead and Bream Tournament is a lure and fly only competition held annually over the Canberra Day long weekend. The competition is strictly catch and release within the boundaries of the Tuross River and its tributaries.
2026 will be our 15th year and held over March 6, 7, 8. Fishing will take place Saturday from 7am to 5pm and Sunday 7am to 3pm. The number of entries is strictly capped at 250.
There are only two entry categories, Junior (sixteen years and younger) and Adult. The entry fee is $160 for adults and $95 for Juniors. All entrants will receive a fishing shirt and meal as part of their entry.
Prizes - Shimano is our ongoing major sponsor and is happy to provide us with high end quality rods and reels for category winners, with a total prize pool over $8,000. We also have spot prizes and raffles over the Tournament period.

Friday Registration and Briefing
Registration and briefing downstairs at Club Tuross from 5pm with giveaways. All competitors will need to attend. Please contact us prior to the event if you're unable to make it at this time.

Fishing commences 7am and competition codes will be sent out via SMS
