Join Ipswich City Council to plant a tree to honor and celebrate mum and the women in your life.
Pack a picnic rug and enjoy coffee and treats while you listen to free nature talks and soak up the peaceful Tite Family Park, Bundamba.
Every mother or carer registered will receive a complimentary gift and treat to enjoy at the planting.
This park is home to native fish, insects, birds and a variety of mammals including platypus.
These works are part of council's Habitat Connections creek rehabilitation program which aims to restore urban waterways through weed removal, replanting and ongoing maintenance.
Important Information:
The planting activity includes loose and sloping surfaces and is near shallow waters. The activity requires a reasonable level of fitness and balance. Children must be supervised at all times.
Please bring a hat, a water bottle and wear enclosed shoes.
