The Treehouse JUNIOR is an 8-session therapeutic program for primary school aged children in Grade1-5 (and their parents/carers), who may need extra support with social skills, self-esteem, managing strong feelings and developing resilience.
The Treehouse SENIOR Program is a 7-session therapeutic program for primary school aged children in Grade 6 (and their parents/carers), that supports children with strong feelings associated with worry, anxiety and grief/loss, in the context of their upcoming change and transition to high school.
In this 3-day face-to-face training course, you will learn about and experience the activities within both the Treehouse JUNIOR & SENIOR programs, so that you can go on to facilitate them in our own organisation, practice or school.
You will receive:
the Treehouse JUNIOR & SENIOR Facilitator Training manual (including resources)
a USB of all resources included in the Facilitator Training manual
ongoing support from two Treehouse facilitators

It’s recommended that the Treehouse program is facilitated with two experienced facilitators, with at least one facilitator directly trained in the program
The EACH Youth and Family Counselling Team developed the Treehouse program 11 years ago and it has evolved over this time. In the Treehouse program, children participate in evidence-informed activities that incorporate and apply many theories and frameworks.
Yes. Each participant will each a receive a copy of the Treehouse JUNIOR and SENIOR manuals and all of the Treehouse resources and a USB with the manual and resources saved onto in.
