Treaty Cloak Workshop — Sale

Treaty Cloak Workshop — Sale

Overview

Join us for a Treaty Cloak Workshop and a feed.

Traditional Owners, Elders, Artist and Community Members are invited to join us for a special workshop that aims to create a possum skin cloak to celebrate Treaty!

The Cloak Project will bring together possum skins with designs and motifs from communities across Victoria to make two Treaty Cloaks for ceremonial use by Gellung Warl, the First Peoples' representative body established by the Treaty.

The workshop will allow participants to contribute designs or motifs that showcase local cultural meaning, geographical significance or aspirations for Treaty.

All materials will be provided on the day and lunch provided.

Registrations are free but essential.
