About this event

This training provides foundational knowledge in trauma, focusing on understanding its impacts on the body and brain. This module is recommended for students, early career professionals and professionals wanting to develop their understanding of trauma.

As a result of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Recognise the effects of trauma and complex trauma
  • Describe the Window of Tolerance
  • Understand trauma through a neuroscience lens
  • Explore effective regulation strategies

Duration: 5hrs (including breaks)

Location: The Training Room, 12-14 Halstead Place, Geelong West VIC 3218

Morning tea and refreshments will be supplied.

There will be a 30min break for lunch - Please bring your own.
