Transit Creative Project (Winter)

Transit Creative Project returns to Metro Melbourne for the Winter Intensive!

Now in its eight year, the Transit Creative Project is one of Australia’s leading holiday intensives for dancers aged 12 – 25 who have an interest in furthering their creative ability.

Each project takes place over four days at Transit Dance Brunswick, with participants working with renowned Australian choreographers in a series of intensive workshops to create an original 20-minute work. These works are then presented onstage as part of a double bill at the conclusion of the week.

This Winter dancers can participate in either a Performing Arts (Jazz) Creative Project or a Contemporary Creative Project.

This unique and rewarding experience provides participants with insight into the creative process whilst fostering a sense of community and belonging.

Performing Arts Creative Project

Duration: 4 days

• Rehearsals: Tue 30 May - Fri 3 June 2026 (9am to 4pm).
• Performance: Fri 3 June 2026 (7pm).
• Location: Transit Dance, Brunswick, Victoria.
• Cost: $375.00 Early Bird Price: $300.00 if booked before 30 March 2026

Contemporary Creative Project

Duration: 4 days

• Rehearsals: Tue 30 May - Fri 3 June 2026 (9am to 4pm).
• Performance: Fri 3 June 2026 (7pm).
• Location: Transit Dance, Brunswick, Victoria.
• Cost: $375.00 Early Bird Price: $300.00 if booked before 30 March 2026
