About this event

Come along, meet other local families, and enjoy activities for the young and young at heart. This program run in partnership with the University of Wollongong (UOW) will bring our youngest and oldest members of the community together with something they both benefit from, play.

Kids, bring your grandparents or neighbours toTots and Seniors time. You don’t need to have grandkids to join in, just come along, join in and you might make new friends of all ages.

The benefits of intergenerational playgroups are outstanding and well researched. They create opportunities for children to further develop their skills, for parents to create a local peer support network, and to provide isolated older adults with vital community interaction. Intergenerational play is ageless!

These sessions will be fun for kids aged 3 to 5, their families and active older adults over 60.

Please note:
Bookings are required for each child participant and each senior participant but bookings are NOT required for parents or cargivers.
