TSI Cultural Capability Program

Join us for an exciting in-person experience at the State Library of Queensland - Stanley Place, South Bank, Brisbane, where you’ll immerse yourself in the rich culture and traditions of the Torres Strait Islands. Through interactive workshops, cultural demonstrations and guided discussions, this program meets the requirements of cultural capability policies and protocols and deepens your understanding and appreciation for Torres Strait Islander heritage and history.

This program is delivered across two sessions. To complete Modules 1–4, participants attend one session only— 4 dates available:

  1. Monday, 15th December 2025
  2. Tuesday, 16th Decemebr 2025
  3. Wednesday, 17th December 2025
  4. Thursday, 22nd January 2026

You’ll then continue your learning journey in Modules 5–10 by booking *one follow-up session— 4 dates available:

  1. Thursday, 29th January 2026
  2. Friday, 30th January 2026
  3. Thursday, 12th February 2026
  4. Friday, 13th February 2026

Each session offers face-to-face learning, practical insights and an opportunity to connect with the vibrant Torres Strait Islander community. Spaces are limited across all dates, so we encourage early registration to secure your preferred sessions.


*Follow up session bookings for Modules 5-10 will be offered to you upon completion of Modules 1-4.
