About this event

  • 1 hour

Join us for a fun, music-loving discussion as writer and comedian Tom Clarke breaks down 30 years of the iconic Hottest 100.

Every year, Australians gather around the radio to listen to Triple J’s countdown of the most voted songs and maybe thinking one of our faves ‘shoulda been higher’.

This book is a fun retrospective: an insightful, light-hearted and deeply respectful celebration of the colourful history of ‘the world’s greatest musical democracy’. Taking account of the 30 annual countdowns, the book traces the social, musical and cultural impacts of the Hottest 100 over the decades.

Jampacked with stats, stories, little-known facts, and the kinds of fiery debate-starting questions that make the Hottest 100 so iconic.
