Vitalstatistixis a South Australian contemporary arts organisation with a focus on the development of multidisciplinary artworks, which experiment with ideas, forms and engagement.We provide a site for big ideas and intimate experiences, for long-term development and hothouse intensity, for contemporary art and community life.Each year Vitals offers a program of performance, residencies, projects, events, exhibitions, festival experiences, collaborations with like-minded makers and presenters, and initiatives for South Australian artists. Vitals is a feminist organisation and has a proud and continuing tradition of supporting women artists.Seeing the creative process of artists, and participating in experimentation and social investigation, is the hallmark of Vitalstatistix. Our heritage-listed home the Waterside Workers Hall and location in Port Adelaide is sublimely suited to this endeavour, and it is a unique offer that the organisation makes to both artists and audiences of art.Vitalstatistix aims to be a vibrant home on the Port River for Australian artists who are experimenting with and changing the world.

Over the last few months, pvi collective have invited rebels located on Kaurna Land to share the issues that keep them up at night.This May, under the cover of dark, and behind the red curtain, local revolutionaries will gather with shots of vodka in hand to unpack the issues, deliberate on creative tactics and ultimately change the world – one tiny revolution at a time.Part think tank, part rowdy revolution clandestine meeting, “tiny revolutions” is a participatory performance that responds to the overwhelming issues of our time by collectively creating bite sized actions that will be carried out in the public realm, k revolyutsii*!Join us to think, conspire and be part of change in the making. *Translation: to the revolution!Some key information for you to know in advance:- Entry to Waterside will be from the side gate/annex (the entry point used for Adhocracy and occasional other events in the past)- The bar is strictly non-cash/card only.Please note that all people entering Waterside will be expected to register their contact details prior to entry and numbers will be limited by social distancing requirements. Vitalstatistix has a COVID-19 Safe Plan in place.
