Three-Day Residential Sanctuary
We are seeking expressions of interest for a three-day residential group counselling program.
This program is open to carers of children living with disabilities. The carer must be residing in the Bendigo, Shepparton, Geelong or Latrobe regions.
This therapeutic group provides the opportunity to express and explore personal experiences in their caring role. It aims to improve carers’ personal health and wellbeing.
Topics may include;
- Expressing your feelings and experiences
The small group will be facilitated by two counsellors in a safe and confidential environment.
To determine if this program is suitable for you, there is a short phone interview as part of the selection process.
When: Tuesday 25, Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 June 2024 (three days)
Where: Hepburn Springs, Victoria
Transport: Participants must make their own way to Hepburn Springs, petrol vouchers to access the Sanctuary can be provided on request.
Cost: All accommodation and meals are covered.
Priority will be given to carers who have not attended previously.
