ThinkChange Bike Maintenance Workshop February - MALENY
Join us for a hands-on bike maintenance workshop designed to help riders of all levels keep their bikes safe, smooth, and road ready.
Sunshine Coast Council’s ThinkChange program is offering an opportunity to learn basic essential skills to keep your bike running smoothly and safely. Led by experienced local bike mechanics, this hands-on session will cover basic repairs, brake and gear adjustments, tyre care, and routine maintenance tips. No prior experience needed—just bring your bike and your enthusiasm!
Whether you're a daily commuter, weekend warrior, or just getting started, this workshop will cover basic repairs, brake and gear adjustments, tyre care, and provide some great routine maintenance tips. You'll learn practical tips and tricks to extend the life of your bike and improve your riding experience. Participants will have the opportunity to work directly on their own bikes with guidance from our team, ask questions, and gain confidence in basic repairs.
All tools and materials will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary. If you don't have a bike, don't worry, we will have some available for you to work on. It's a great chance to connect with local bike riders, learn valuable skills, and ensure your bike is ready for use.
Each participant must sign a public liability waiver for these events. This waiver will include permission for the Sunshine Coast Council to reproduce and use all images. Copyright of all images will remain with the Sunshine Coast Council.
