One of our top FAQs is how to show the impact of research when its outcomes may not be realised for several years. A theory of change can help to plan your pathway to impact by articulating how your actions will generate the intended results. You can represent your theory of change using a logic model, a diagram that shows these relationships at a glance.

This workshop will give you the tools to develop a theory of change for your project and design an associated logic model. We will look at a range of templates and discuss how they can bring out the qualities of different pathways to impact.

Why should I attend?

Funders, donors, prospective collaborators and industry partners all appreciate a neatly turned-out logic model. If you need to show stakeholders how your project will realise its intended benefits – or if you need a shortcut to impact planning - this workshop is for you.

Who should attend?

This workshop is intended for La Trobe University researchers, HDR students and supervisors.
