The Zanzibar reggae festival is a 2-day event and an artistic celebration of a genre of music that has beautifully articulated the strength and resiliience of humanity though lyrics of love and unity.

The festival brings together international and local reggae artists to perform at Stone Town’s historical Old Fort, combining culture and history with art and music in the soul of the city.

The Zanzibar Reggae festival incorporates focus on community development and raises environmental awareness through the pre performance initiatives of tree planting and beach clean-up efforts.
