Description

There is a growing body of research highlighting psychological difficulties experienced by many postgraduate research students. Uncertainty regarding outcomes, isolation, perfectionism and procrastination can all impact on your psychological wellbeing and affect your research progression.

This workshop focusses on positive psychological and practical ways you can maintain your resilience and wellbeing throughout your research degree. In this workshop you will:

  • Explore issues impacting on psychological wellbeing and performance during the research degree

  • Develop an understanding of anxiety and stress and how to manage effectively

  • Identify strategies to optimise your performance

This workshop will be presented by Dr Shari Walsh, Developer and Facilitator of Resilient Researcher; Psychologist and Career Development Practitioner, Growth Psychology, Brisbane.
