Join us for the 9th annual Prosecco festival - back at the fabulous Abbotsford Convent on Saturday 28nd February 2026!

2 session times are available : 11am-3pm and 4.30pm-8.30pm

Meet growers, winemakers and importers, and taste some of the best Prosecco available in Australia today, and with over 50 different Proseccos to try there's one to suit every palate!

This unique event brings together Italian and local Prosecco producers, as well as Van Di Vino, Australia's original Prosecco and Spritz Bar, wines by the glass, award-winning craft beer, delicious food, and great tunes to get you in the mood.

Gluten free and vegetarian options will be available.

Each ticket includes a beautiful tulip-shaped Plumm sparkling wine tasting glass that's yours to keep, a Festival program and a tote bag which holds up to 2 bottles of wine for take-home purchases, and tastings of all wines.

This is an adults only event - children under 18 cannot be accommodated(including babies, children in prams) We also cannot accomodate pets in the indoor wine tasting area or VIP area at any time due to food safety council requirements

2 session times are available : 11am-3pm and 4.30pm-8.30pm

VIP Sessions :

There is 1 VIP session for each time slot - which includes a 45 minute Prosecco Masterclass with the Prosecco Queen, Melissa Brauer, where guests will taste 4 different styles of Prosecco paired with antipasto snacks and cheese.

Festival sponsor Dal Zotto Wines will be serving their signature Pucino Spritz on arrival. A refreshing blend of limoncello and Pucino Prosecco, served over ice with fresh lemon and mint.

Session One VIP Masterclass starts at 11.30pm sharp

Session Two VIP Masterclass starts at 5.00pm sharp

Masterclasses run for 45 minutes, and are held in the Oratory at the other end of the Sacred Heart Courtyard ( where the entrance is located )

ALL TICKETS

Please note all tastings are including in the Session 1 & 2 ticket price. Additional wines by the glass will be available direct from each exhibitor at $12 each. Van Di Vino will be serving up Aperol Spritz and wines by the glass for purchase on the lawn.

You can purchase wines to take home directly from each exhibitor, or place orders for home delivery. All wine sold on the day to take home will not be chilled and cannot be consumed at the festival, as this breaches our liquor licence conditions. Security will also be patrolling the area to ensure these breaches do not occur. Anyone found breaching this condition will be asked to leave the festival immediately.

** NB limited tickets will be available at the door on the day of the event unless sold out prior . **

GETTING THERE:

The ride or walk to the Convent is spectacular, with the Capital City cycling and walking path directly passing the precinct. The St Heliers Street turn-off is opposite the entrance to the Collingwood Children’s Farm.

Catch a Mernda or Hurstbridge line train to Victoria Park Station. The train station is a 10 – 15 minute walk to the Convent, or you can catch the 200 or 207 bus down Johnston Street to the Clarke Street stop. The bus stop is a 3 – 5 minute walk to the Convent.

Parking

All day parking is available in the car park directly across from the Convent on St Heliers Street. The machines accept credit cards, notes and gold coins. Funds from the car park go towards the restoration and daily operation of the Convent, and also support our neighbours, the Collingwood Children’s Farm. Just don't drink and drive.

Refunds:

If you can't attend unfortunately we are unable to refund your ticket but you can always sell it to someone else as tickets are fully transferrable.

NO BYO FOOD AND DRINK

No BYO food or drink is permitted. We reserve the right to check all bags, and to refuse entry to any guests who show signs of inebriation (refund not applicable in this case)

As we are serving food inside dogs are not allowed inside the tasting area (sevice dogs permitted)

**festival guests may not conduct business at our event: including but not limited to canvassing/offering/selling products or services to other guests - only official authorised vendors/exhibitors may conduct business at the festival.

***we have a roving professional photographer/videographer who will take photos of exhibitors, masterclasses and guests enjoying the festival . By purchasing a ticket you consent to your image potentially being used for promotional purposes and may appear in future social media posts as well as the annual Prosecco Festival Facebook album.
