What is accessibility like?

MV Calmer is not a fully accessible venue due to wharf and vessel design. There is no wheelchair access. It is the responsibility of the ticket purchaser/attendee to assess whether the vessel and event are suitable for their individual accessibility need/s.

Is the event restricted to certain age groups?

Yes. Attendees must be 18 years of age and over. Valid Photo ID will need to be shown at entry, and upon request.

Can I get a refund if I can't attend the event?

Tickets are final and non-refundable. We recommend considering this before purchasing your ticket. We cannot transfer tickets to other time slots or events.

Can I give the ticket as a gift to someone?

Yes. The attendee must be 18 years of age and over and be able to present valid photo ID.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the cruise?

The cruise will proceed as scheduled even in rainy weather conditions. The boat as plenty of indoor and covered areas.

Can I bring my own food and drinks onboard?

No, outside food and drinks are not allowed onboard. We have a variety of food and beverages available on board for purchase.

How early should I arrive at the pickup location?

We advise guests to arrive at the wharf at least 30 minutes prior to boat departure time to allow plenty of time to check-in and board the cruise. We also recommend considering parking time and availability when making your plans for arrival, while also allowing for public transport delays.

Is the cruise wheelchair and pram friendly?

Vessel and wharf access design and safety protocol means we cannot accommodate wheelchairs. Other mobility assistive equipment can be considered, however access will likely be limited to the main deck. The main deck has a wrap around balcony and large windows so views are still easily enjoyed.

Can I reserve an area or seating?

No, we do not offer reserved seating on any area of the vessel. Seating availability is determined by the event type and setup.

Can my dietary requirement be accommodated?

Set menu. we cannot accommodate requests for dietary substitutions and modifications of menus. Kitchen cannot be considered allergen free. We cannot guarantee that certain products or ingredients will not be in our food, and we explicitly accept no liability in this regard.

Heels Policy – The MV Calmer has steep stairs, so tall or pointy heels are not permitted. Small chunky heels are fine!

No mid-cruise drop-offs or pickups.
Food and beverages are available on board for purchase, but not included in the ticket price.

Location: Boarding at Queens Wharf Ferry Terminal
Heels policy: for safety on vessel stairs please have a night off from heels; small chunky are ok but tall pointy may mean you are refused entry or required to only access main deck
No reserved tables or seating. This is primarily a standing/ dance event. There is seating found throughout the vessel but is limited and cannot be reserved.
No need to stress about the weather! Rain doesn't stop the boat from cruising, and there is plenty inside space on the main and mid decks for an epic time! so you don't have to worry about what the weather is doing.
Do not leave bags or other personal items on any seating or in anyway unattended while on-board the vessel. All Event Cruises Pty Ltd accepts no liability for any lost, damaged or stolen personal items.
