About this event
We are proud to invite you to a very special preview screening of feature documentary, 'Brazen Hussies'.
Interweaving freshly uncovered archival footage, personal photographs, memorabilia and lively personal accounts from activists, BRAZEN HUSSIES shows us how a daring and diverse group of women joined forces to defy the status quo, demand equality and create profound social change - contributing to one of the greatest social movements of the 20th Century.
The feature documentary has been selected for this year's Brisbane International Film Festival, Antenna Selects and Adelaide Film Festival with overwhelming reviews. Behind the project is a slate of incredible female talent including Catherine Dwyer (Director); Andrea Foxworthy and Philippa Campey (Producers); and Sue Maslin AO (Exec. Producer).
We invite you to join us, as well as our very special guest, NMF Ambassador Kyas Hepworth (NITV Australia).
Special thanks to Event Cinemas and Film Art Media.
All proceeds go to the Natalie Miller Fellowship Fund contributing to one Fellowship per year. The NMF is not for profit.
