<h1>The Lighthouse</h1><h2>Presented as part of the <a href="https://www.eventbrite.com/cc/vca-master-of-theatre-directing-graduate-season-488859" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">2022 VCA Master of Theatre (Directing) Theatre Directing Graduate Season</a></h2><h3>Words and music by Peter Maxwell Davies</h3><h3>Directed by Kate Millett</h3><p></p><p>Inspired by the true story of three lighthouse keepers who disappeared without a trace, <em>The Lighthouse</em> by Peter Maxwell Davies is a chilling opera thriller. Three singers, playing multiple characters, explore the poisonous chemistry between men sick of each other and themselves, isolated and trapped, descending into madness. </p><p><em>This performance runs for 75 minutes.</em></p><p><strong>Devisors and performers -</strong> Daniel Sinfield, Jonathan Rumsam, Henry Shaw </p><p><strong>Conductor - </strong>Evan Lawson</p><p><strong>Repetiteur - </strong>Sung Won Choi</p><p><strong>Set &amp; Costume Designer - </strong>Casey Harper-Wood</p><p><strong>Sound Designer - </strong>Jack Burmeister</p><p><strong>Lighting Designer - </strong>Gabriel Bethune</p><p></p>
