Join Toni “The Veggie Lady” Salter to learn how to establish and maintain your worm farm. An online/webinar event.

About this Event

Worm casting and liquid is a valuable organic resource that can be added to soil to help plants grow. It helps reduce water consumption in the garden and reduces the amount of waste we send to landfill, which is great for the environment and your wallet!

Come along to our workshop to learn how to set up and maintain your own worm farm and successfully produce compost for your garden.

Date: Saturday 19 September 2020

Location: Online via Zoom - link to be sent to registered participants

Time: 10am - 11.30 am (webinar will open 9.50am)

Who: This workshop is suitable for adults who live in the City of Ryde local government area.


  • Computer, phone or smart device
  • Notepad and pen 

Cost: FREE. This is provided at no cost by the City of Ryde.

Booking: Advanced bookings essential. Book early as places are strictly limited and we anticipate this session will reach full capacity.

Note: Participants who are City of Ryde residents will be provided with a 50% discount voucher to purchase a compost bin or worm farm after attending this workshop.
