The Image Collector: Exhibition Launch

Join us for the launch of this exhibition by Adelaide Hills photographer John Gitsham

The library will be hosting an exhibition of photographs by Adelaide Hills local, John Gitsham who has published a series of books featuring his photos, titled The Dream Theatre, Ambient, and The Image Collector'.

John started his photography journey at the age of 12 during a trip to Naracoorte. Armed with his mother's Kodak Box Brownie camera, John captured the essence of that journey, and his love of photography has continued ever since.

John also has over 40 years of experience as a dedicated conservationist, naturalist, birder, and bird photographer, with nature and birds often featuring in his photos.

At the exhibition launch, John will talk about his photography and show a selection of photos in a slide presentation.
