Join Coach Kristy for a two-part workshop series designed to help you move more efficiently, pace smarter, and train with intent whether you are learning the ergs or preparing for HYROX race day.


Across two interactive sessions, you will combine hands-on coaching, practical strategy, and coached workouts to build efficiency and confidence under fatigue.


What to expect
• Practical technique coaching and efficiency cues
• Pacing strategies
• Review of relevant movement standards and rules
• Nutrition guidance to support training performance and race preparation
• A coached workout to apply what you have learned


Session focus

Ergs and Nutrition (Ski and Row)
Sunday 22/2, 3-4:30pm
Suitable for HYROX athletes, members who attend EST and MetCon classes, or anyone wanting to improve Ski and Row efficiency.


This session focuses on SkiErg and RowErg technique and pacing, making it suitable for anyone wanting to improve efficiency for conditioning, general training, or racing.


Key focus areas:
• SkiErg and RowErg technique for efficiency and consistency
• Damper settings, stroke rate, and pacing strategies
• Common erg mistakes and how to fix them
• Nutrition and hydration to support training and performance


HYROX Stations, Transitions and Race Strategy
Sunday 1/3, 3-4:30pm

This session is HYROX-focused and designed for athletes training for or racing HYROX or Paladin. The emphasis is on efficient movement, smart transitions, and race-day execution.


Key focus areas:
• Efficient movement and standards across HYROX stations
• Transition setup and time-saving strategies
• Singles and doubles tips
• Pacing across run and stations
• Nutrition strategies & taper recommendations specific to HYROX race preparation
• Coached HYROX-style workout


Location
Hybrid Studio (Level 3), Function Well

Please arrive on time for a 3pm start


Who it is for
• Week 1 is suitable for anyone wanting to improve SkiErg and RowErg efficiency
• Week 2 is for athletes training for or racing HYROX singles or doubles


You are welcome to attend one session or both depending on your goals.
