THE HELLSOC ANNUAL BALL
The Hellenic Society of UNSW & the Foundation for Hellenic Studies UNSW presents HELLSOC's Annual Ball for 2026.
The Hellenic Society of UNSW (HELLSOC), in collaboration with the Foundation for Hellenic Studies at UNSW, proudly presents its premier annual community ball - an evening dedicated to celebrating the continuation of Modern Greek Studies at UNSW and the recipients of the 1821 Scholarship.
This special event recognises student achievement while raising awareness of UNSW’s long-standing and distinguished Modern Greek program.
Established over 52 years ago, HELLSOC has played a vital role in supporting and promoting Modern Greek Studies at UNSW. Today, the Foundation of Hellenic Studies for UNSW in solidarity with HELLSOC carry forth this initiative. Together, we continue this legacy by fostering meaningful connections between students, educators and the wider Greek community, united by a shared commitment to education, culture and heritage.
Join us for an evening of commemoration, as we celebrate youth participation in Modern Greek language education. Guests can look forward to a live Greek youth band, a DJ, a three-course dinner catered by The Clairemont and keynote speeches by prominent community leaders as we come together to honour culture and the future of Greek studies at UNSW.
