Overview

Yackandandah Library

Penny Wright has worked as a solicitor, mediator, university lecturer, Tribunal Member and Senator for South Australia (2011-2015). Her final role, until 2022, was as South Australia’s Guardian for Children and Young People, where she advocated for children and young people in state care and youth justice detention.

Join us to hear her share some of her “interesting” adventures in a male oriented profession – some challenging and some funny!

We would also love to hear your stories about how the role of women has changed over time.
