Event description
Jazz:NOW Wired captures the excitement, diversity and immediacy of Australian jazz in digital mode.

About this Event

Jazz:NOW has rebooted to connect audiences at a time when it's most needed. Watch seven intimate studio performances with bonus vintage footage from iconic Australian artists in this exclusive digital season.

The Fabulous Botting Flower draw on influences of jazz, blues, soul, and Americana to create catchy arrangements of classic tunes, wiry harmonies and beautiful original compositions. Fabro’s soulful vocals are elevated by the voluptuous tones of National Jazz Award winning guitarist Aaron Flower and the earthy tones of Alduca’s bass.

Jo Fabro (vocals) Aaron Flower (guitar) Max Alduca (bass).

+ Bonus Footage: Lily Dior Quintet, Darren Percival with Paul Macnamra, and Kristin Cornwell Quintet

A celebration of definitive Sydney jazz vocalists of the naughties from Sydney's longest running jazz venue, The Basement. A young Darren Percival is in duo mode with piano great Paul Mcnamara. Kristin Cornwell is joined by Sandy Evans, Jeremy Sawkins, Brendan Clarke and Simon Barker.

*Thank you to Cordell Hilton for the use of the archival footage.
