The Exquisite Familiar is an exciting, collaborative art project bringing together disabled artists of different ages, art forms and experiences to create, experiment and build digital skills.In this interactive, multi-artform project, artists develop their own “Exquisite Familiar” - a creature inspired by the Exquisite Corpse art method - to explore and express experiences of disability, access and inclusion. In 2025 Yorketown Progress Associaton brought the Exquisite Familiar Project to the YP for GROUNDED. In 2026, The Exquisite Familiar Regional is presented in Minlaton by Enabling Country Hub as a showcase of Yorke Peninsula Artists involvement in the project. Pop in, explore, and be inspired by this creative and meaningful exhibition during Minlaton's 150th celebrations.
