THE DIVINE DANCER: A Winter Solstice Ecstatic Dance with Stewart & Gareth

The Winter Solstice marks the turning point from dark to light in our yearly cycle and is often used as a potent time for a sense of rebirth. It is a yearly marker for shedding the old and birthing new ways of being.

It is also seen as a time when the 'veil' between the physical and the spiritual planes thins... A time when we can more easily contact our highest self and the mystical presence of the divine.

For this Winter Solstice Ecstatic Dance Journey, we will once again be joined by musial magician Gareth Mansel. Together we will weave you an immersive experience of sound, dance, and ritual that enables you to connect deeply with the divine.

The Divine Dancer is an invitation to allow the merging of the dancer and the dance. We will invite you to dive deep into yourself and touch the inner landscape of your soul, before extending you outwards through movement into an expanded sense of self, where you can embody more of the divine, both in your dance, and in your life.

This is an ecstatic dance experience crafted to warm your spirit. We'll be blending expansive, energetic dance with moments of immersive live sound to take you on a unique journey.

ABOUT YOUR FACILITATOR:

Stewart is a counsellor, lover of dance, nature lover and sound healer. He is a practicing social worker, holds a Bachelor of Music Degree, and is an accredited Soul Motion Conscious Dance Teacher.

Stewart's dive into conscious dance trainings in Open Floor and Soul Motion over the past 7 years, has sparked the birth of these regular 'Altered States' dance offerings for those seeking a deeper integration of mind, body and spirit.
