Overview

Finding it hard to set boundaries while caring for someone? This workshop will help you create healthy boundaries and look after yourself.

2–hour, free workshop for mental health carers.

When you care for someone with mental ill-health, it’s easy to put their needs ahead of your own. But how do you set healthy boundaries without feeling guilty?

In this workshop, we’ll talk about what boundaries really are, why they matter, and how to set them in a way that supports both you and the person you care for.

You’ll walk away with:

  • a better understanding of boundaries and why they’re important
  • practical tools to set and communicate boundaries clearly
  • a personal plan to look at how consistency can really help.

Join us to learn how to set healthier boundaries, reduce stress and build a stronger relationship with the person you support.

This session is designed specifically for family members, kin, young carers, friends and other individuals who support someone experiencing mental ill-health. We are a Queensland-based service.
