Please bring a preloved book to swap. Please wrap the book and write why you loved it on the paper! Because who doesn't love a blind date with a book!

Are food & drinks available on the night?

The full bar &bistro menu is available for drink and food purchases.

Can I come on my own?

Yes absolutely!! Come along and meet like-minded book lovers for an evening of literary fun!

Emma & Clare love Quizes! The quiz will be old school pen & paper with a mix of questions from the current month's book. It's a great way to break the ice and have fun with the book!

Do I have to read the book?

We understand that life often gets in the way of a good read. So please still come along and join in the fun on the night! Every Book Club will have more than one member that hasn't read the book.

Yes! We have a door prize and quiz prize up for grabs!

Join your hosts Emma and Clare for a fun evening edition of our successful “The Book Club” events.

Our event is perfect for a midweek outing — open to everyone 18 to 108! If you enjoy reading and meeting new people The Book Club is a great opportunity for engaging conversation, laughter and new connections. Come on your own, with friends or with your existing book club members and enjoy an evening themed around the Book of the Month.

📖 February’s Book Choice: TThe Housemaid by Freida McFadden

Every day I clean the Winchesters’ beautiful house top to bottom. I collect their daughter from school. And I cook a delicious meal for the whole family before heading up to eat alone in my tiny room on the top floor.

I try to ignore how Nina makes a mess just to watch me clean it up. How she tells strange lies about her own daughter. And how her husband Andrew seems more broken every day. But as I look into Andrew’s handsome brown eyes, so full of pain, it’s hard not to imagine what it would be like to live Nina’s life. The walk-in closet, the fancy car, the perfect husband.

I only try on one of Nina’s pristine white dresses once. Just to see what it’s like. But she soon finds out… and by the time I realize my attic bedroom door only locks from the outside, it’s far too late.

But I reassure myself: the Winchesters don’t know who I really am. They don’t know what I’m capable of…
