This is the first exclusive and revealing tour of EBV to the public, tailored specifically for Melbourne Design Week, designed to inspire and educate.
Open to all interested in art and architecture in the build in environment. The ‘Architects Art Tour’ at East Brunswick Village (EBV) invites participants to discover a unique, urban development.
As Australia’s design and art luminaries respectively, Chris Manton founding Director of JAM Architects and Andy Dinan founding director of MARS Gallery are deeply committed to building environments where creativity and art thrives.
The tour will begin at 3pm sharp, meeting out the front of Rocket Society. Where Chris Manton will lead us through a detailed tour of how he planned the village and how it came to life through the various stages. Andy Dinan will talk about her public artwork since day one on the development, and the challenges in the built environment. We will visit gardens, bee hives, libraries, and see where the artists are painting murals, and end the tour with a well-earned spritz and aperitive at Rocket Society.
Numbers are limited to 30 persons to ensure a personal tour. You are advised to book promptly.
