The Alchemist | Steampunk Story II

Back by popular demand. Our final workshop for 2025 invited you to enter the mysterious lab of The Alchemist — a hands-on creative portrait experience blending light, texture, and storytelling. IT WAS AMAZING. Here's your chance to grab a spot for 2026!

You’ll work directly with professional model Nicola Paige, styled in full steampunk character — complete with goggles, gloves, leather vests, and glowing elixirs — set inside a moody, cinematic lab scene filled with apothecary bottles, bubbling flasks, and brass scales.

This session is perfect for photographers who love character-driven portraiture, dramatic lighting, and creative storytelling.

⚙️ What You’ll Learn

• How to shape dramatic light using one- and two-light setups
• Creating atmosphere with gels, smoke, and props
• Directing your model for authentic emotion and pose flow
• Composition tips for cinematic storytelling
• Styling, colour, and texture to enhance the steampunk aesthetic

🧠 What to Bring

• DSLR or Mirrorless camera
• Lens around 50mm or 24–70mm (or similar)
• Fully charged batteries & spare cards
• Godox trigger (if you have one)
• Creativity and curiosity!
