Event description

Description

We are thrilled to have our 2 gorgeous friends back to grace our stage with their beautiful voices and musicianship.

The Acfields have taken their music from their childhood in central Queensland to the world. Their two stunning voices have spent many a childhood car trip together harmonizing together in Australia and overseas. Their blending of folk-pop and alt-country roots has created music that stays with you long after the song ends. Reaction from live audiences around the country saw their storytelling, vocal harmonies, and enduring on-stage sibling banter shine.

The Acfields have been heard on national and community radio including a spot in Brisbane’s 4ZzZ hottest 100. In 2016 the siblings were awarded highly commended in the country category at the Queensland Music Awards for their song ‘The Years’. Hardly stopping to catch their breath the two have been supporting the likes of Joan Armatrading, Josh Pyke and Vika and Linda Bull and holding spots in numerous festivals up and down the east-coast.

2018 will see the brother and sister team release their sophomore album before returning to the road with “an expressive voice that engages you instantly” (Gotye) and harmonies that linger for days.
