The National Fodder Conference is the premier event which brings the fodder industry and its customers together to focus on the challenges and opportunities before the industry.

The event will cover a range of topics to examine reducing risk, improving productivity and profitability, and building industry resilience and success.

The conference will include a large trade and exhibition hall indoors, and a major machinery display outdoors. Get up-to-date with the latest fodder industry machinery, tools, products and news … all in a central spot at the National Fodder Conference exhibition hall.

The event kicks off with the traditional Welcome Function.

- Wednesday 24 July 2024

Day one of the conference including speakers, presentations and updates relating to the our ‘fodder = opportunities’ theme followed by the Gala Dinner.

- Thursday 25 July 2024

Day two of the conference starts off with the AGM and Member Forum before returning to our final suite of speakers, presentation and updates relating to the our ‘fodder = opportunities’ theme.


Full conference registration includes the conference, welcome function and gala dinner. There are also options to just attend either of the functions or one day of conference proceedings only.

Pre-Conference Tour - Back by popular demand!

Sunday 21 July – Tuesday 23 July

AFIA will be hosting a pre-conference tour for one coachload of delegates highlighting the farming, supply chain and experiences in the Coffs Harbour region. We’re even planning a quick stop at the Big Banana! We know from previous tours that these experiences fill quickly so remember to book your ticket to avoid disappointment.

A pre-conference tour deposit of $200 must be paid by 5pm, 10 June, 2024. The full cost for the tour is members $850 (twin/share) $950 (single), non-members $1050. A full invoice for the remainder of the ticket costs will be invoiced once the tour is confirmed. Tour confirmation will be subject to committed numbers of attendees.

AFIA has secured accommodation rates for fodder conference attendees at the venue. More information about accommodation and travel options is available on the AFIA website.

Note: Please be aware that member prices are only available to financial members so if you have not yet renewed your AFIA membership, please do so before registering for the Pre-Conference Tour and the Conference.

Refund Policy - Cancellations received before the 1 July 2024 will be given a 100% refund, excluding transaction fees. Cancellations between 1 July and 7 July 2024 will be given a 50% discount excluding transaction fees. Cancellations on or after 7 July 2024 will not be eligible for a refund. Additionally, ticket transfers will not be accepted. If an attendee cannot attend and another person is attending in their place, please cancel the original ticket and order a new ticket.
