The Dishes

Pad Thai

Pad Thai is a popular Thai dish that consists of stir-fried rice noodles, vegetables, egg, and tofu. It was originally created over 60 years ago as a way to deal with rice shortage in Thailand, and has since become a beloved staple in Thai cuisine.
The dish is flavored with a combination of sweet, sour, and salty flavors, with a hint of spice from chili pepper. It is typically served with a side of crushed peanuts, fresh lime, and bean sprouts to add a crunchy texture and zesty flavor.

Green Papaya Salad

Green Papaya Salad, also known as Som Tam, is a refreshing and healthy Thai salad made with shredded green papaya, tomatoes, carrots, green beans, and roasted peanuts. The salad is dressed with a tangy and spicy sauce made from lime juice, fish sauce, palm sugar, and chili peppers.

Dietary Requirements

Our Pad Thai and Green Papaya Salad class is gluten free and ceoliac friendly however the dishes you will prepare contains the following:


  • Fish
  • Crustaceans
  • Soy
  • Eggs
  • Peanuts


This class can easily be made vegetarian or vegan as we will substitue sauces contiaining animal products for their vegan counterparts.


There is the opportunity to advise us of your dietry requriement at time of purchase. Thai food is peanut heavy, we can provide nut free ingredients however there is an extremely high risk of cross contamination. Please notify us of any allergies at time of purchase so that we can reduce risk of cross contamination.

Arrival Time

The masterclass will start at the advertised time, so please arrive at least 10 minutes early to allow time to get settled in and comfortable.


The class will begin at the advertised time, if you are running late you may join the class at a time that is convenient and will not disrupt others.


Upon arrival, guests will be served a delicious mocktail to enjoy before and as the masterclass begins.


Please be aware that the mocktail is non-alcoholic, so if you would like to purchase alcoholic beverages during the class, you may do so at your own expense however as always enjoy responsibly.

Cancellation / Refunds

We do not offer refunds for the masterclass. Once a ticket has been purchased, it is non-refundable.


However, we do offer the option to transfer the ticket to another person or to a future masterclass, as long as we are notified more than 14 days prior to the scheduled class date. Transfer requests must be made in writing by emailing us at info@bangpop.com.au.


A $22 transfer fee will apply for each ticket transfer. This fee covers our administrative and processing costs associated with the transfer.


If a transfer request is made less than 14 days prior to the scheduled class date, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate the request.


In the event that we need to cancel or reschedule the masterclass for any reason, we will offer a full refund to all ticket holders.


By purchasing a ticket for this masterclass, you agree to these refund policy terms and conditions.


Parking

For parking, we advise you to park at the DFO Wilson car park South Wharf. We have 50% discount vouchers available that you can use to make your parking more affordable. These vouchers can be obtained from the venue staff upon your arrival.
