TGIF Fridays

O﻿ur events are generally aimed at youth creating a safe place to have fun, learn about mental health and well-being, feel safe and connected. We support friends and family and are very interested in creating a caring and supportive community  both in our centre and outside.At headspace Maitland we have two groups that run weekly during the school term:-﻿Dugeons and Dragons on wednesdays from 3-5 for people aged 16-25-﻿ TGIF on Fridays from 3:30 - 5 for people aged 12-25.T﻿GIF is a mixed activity and social groups where young people can come learn about mental health and self care but mainly its about having fun and teaching them wellbeing skills through activities like playing video games, boared games, cooking, art, craft and more!

TGIF Fridays is a free weekly social group for young people living in the Maitland community who are looking for that extra something each week.Each week we get you involved in something different that is based on maintaining self care.
