About this event

Join us for an informative look at the struggles of young people living in refugee camps and how science is being used to treat trauma.

This documentary offers a unique window into the impact of war on children through the pioneering work of an international team of scientists and humanitarians.

Follow researchers from Yale, Harvard, and Hashemite Universities as they investigate Toxic Stress on young refugees fleeing the brutal Syrian civil war.

The film illustrates the role science is playing in mitigating the forced displacement of entire populations due to war and famine, whilst including the role of love and compassion.
