About this Event
TEETH VS. IMPLANTS
Nowadays, dental implants have established themselves as a standard treatment protocol for replacing missing teeth. The debate that has arisen whether implants should obviate the necessity to preserve teeth is far from conclusive. In light of gained knowledge and experience in implant treatment and their complication maybe it is a good time to give teeth extractions a second thought. This lecture aims to discuss the indications and contraindications of saving teeth vs. extraction and placement of implants from a prosthodontic and periodontic perspective.
