Technoir's 5th Queen's Birthday Eve Party
Event Information
About this event
After a few months off, Technoir returns for their first Queen’s Birthday Eve Party since all the way back in 2018!
This will be our first party with close to ‘normal’ conditions at our wonderful home Colour, as we take over both levels for a night of diverse Techno sounds.
Upstairs we are really excited to welcome two of Melbourne’s premier hardware-based live acts; Acid maestro Dylab and Electro wizard Jani Ho.
Joining them up there will also be Technoir favourite C:1 who returns after a long absence to grace us with an all vinyl Ghetto-Tech set and also Technoir resident Simon Slieker who will be playing a rare Ambient set.
Downstairs we will be welcoming MTLDA and EVE to the Technoir stage for the first time, alongside another Technoir stalwart guest in the form of Hyper Binary.
As always Technoir residents Simon Slieker and Ranjit Nijjer will be rounding out the roster, with Simon slated to contribute yet another one of his epic closing sets.
We’d love you to come and join us for a night of cathartic connection via dance as well as a celebration of the world class Techno purveyors of Melbourne!

We live, work and play on land that was forcibly taken from Aboriginal people. There has been no Treaty with the First Nations of this place and the effects of colonisation continue to this day. We would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people, on whose land this event will take place. We pay our respects to the Elders past, present and emerging and recognise that sovereignty has never been ceded.
There is a strict zero tolerance policy towards racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ableism or harassment of any kind. Please report any unwelcome behaviour to staff or event organisers. There may be some strobe lights used in performances.
