Tech Savvy Seniors: Introduction to smartphones

Develop the skills and confidence to get connected and participate in the online world.

In this workshop, you will learn the basics of how to navigate your way round a smartphone with a touchscreen.

Topics include:

• how to turn the phone on and off
• making and receiving calls
• adding a contact and looking up a contact
• changing the volume on the phone
• an introduction to apps.

Please bring along your own smartphones.

Due to the limited places for this activity, please ensure that you can commit to the session before you book. If you register and cannot attend, please contact the Library as soon as possible so we can fill your place.
