Tech Savvy Seniors in Mandarin @ Ashfield Library
Overview
Join us at Ashfield Library to attend free introductory computer classes for seniors with a Mandarin speaking trainer.
This six session program will assist seniors with little or no digital experience to develop skills and confidence in using technology for socialising, accessing services or conducting personal business.
Each session will need to be individually booked.
Tech Savvy Seniors is a partnership between the NSW Government and Telstra, providing technology training to seniors through NSW public libraries.
Tuesday10 February 10am-12pm- Introduction to computers/introduction to the internet
Tuesday 17 February 10am-12pm- Sharing photos and other attachments through email
Tuesday 24 February 10am-12pm- Introduction to social media
Tuesday 3 March 10am-12pm- Introduction to iPads and apps
Tuesday 10 March 10am-12pm- Introduction to cyber safety
ABOUT THE TSS PROGRAM:
Tech Savvy Seniors is a partnership between the NSW Government and Telstra, providing free technology training to seniors through NSW public libraries.
Trainers are provided by ECCNSW.
The Ethnic Communities’ Council of NSW (ECCNSW) is the peak body for all culturally and linguistically diverse communities in New South Wales. It is a non-profit association that was established in 1975 at Sydney Town Hall by a mass rally of all ethnic communities in NSW.
