Team Queensland | 2026 World Coffee Championship Fundraiser
Fundraising event to support the three Queensland champions representing Australia on the world stage
Our three Queensland coffee superstars - Amy Zhang, Danny Andrade and Karl Lee are heading to the 2026 World Coffee Championships to represent Australia across three categories of Latte Art, Roasting and Cup Tasters.
Why We Need Your Support
This is a significant milestone for our coffee community, with an unprecedented number of Queensland-based competitors representing Australia. Competing at the World Coffee Championships demands extensive preparation, travel, and resources. While our competitors have largely self-funded their participation, it is time for us to get behind them; they elevate our industry’s reputation, share their time and knowledge, and have long done so without financial backing they deserve.
This event is a catalyst to unite the industry, creating a more collaborative community of coffee professionals who support one another.
How Your Donation Helps
- Support travel to World Coffee Championships in the USA, Belgium, and Thailand
- Enable preparation time, including training leave
- Fund coaching, training, and essential equipment
- Ensures all three champions compete fully prepared.
Event Highlights
Every contribution counts! Join us on 14 March with live coffee showcases and a Q&A with our champs:
- Latte Art Throwdown with Amy
- Cup Tasting Experience with Karl
- Roaster’s Story & Roast Tasting – insight and comparison with Danny.
Let’s Make It Happen
Grab a ticket or if unable to attend, please contribute via donation.
Hosted by Coffee Mentality, all proceeds go directly to the three competitors to fund their journey to the World Coffee Championships.
