About this event

This workshop is designed for Tutors or Teaching Assistants who will be teaching with iLearn. It will provide participants with an overview of iLearn, how to access student work online, use forums and make announcements. It is particularly useful for casual academic tutors or teaching assistants who are not responsible for building or editing content but need to access student work in iLearn such as online assignments, quizzes and forums. The Convenor role in iLearn is responsible for building and editing an online unit and will not be covered in this session. Staff that need to learn how to build and edit content should attend iLearn Basics. By the end of this session, you will be able to:

  • Navigate iLearn

  • Access student content

  • Identify the different roles in iLearn

  • Manage forums

  • Manage profile settings

  • Make an announcement

  • Direct students to Help
