Tarot Club
Welcome to Tarot Club, a monthly meet-up where all are welcome to explore, discuss and practice the art of Tarot over tea and treats.
Whether you’re a curious beginner or seasoned reader, Tarot Club is a safe space to meet with fellow enthusiasts to share knowledge and connect with a like-minded community. This month we're doing a temporary location change to Curate U in Thornbury, and our Feb guest co-host is ritual practitioner, bodyworker, fellow Aquarius and tarot reader - Alice.
Sessions usually run a little something like this:
- Acknowledgement of Country
- Circle opening & introductions
- Deep dive into the card for the month
- Solo reading
- Exercise relating to the card/theme
- Paired readings
- Circle sharing and closing
- Snacks and chats
Bring
- The Tarot deck you're currently working with
- Journal/Pen/Paper
Host
Leah - Tarot club is facilitated by Leah, founder of Radical Self Tarot. After noting a serious lack of local, cool, inclusive tarot groups, Leah has set out to create the community she's been searching for herself. Currently a student of Lindsay Macks Tarot for the Wild Soul, Leah is keen to continue learning about the myriad of ways Tarot can support us in our daily lives. She is also studying her Masters of Counselling and Psychotherapy with aspirations to become a qualified therapist and tarot reader.
Co-Host for February
What better way to honour February than a tarot club hosted by two Aquarians. Alice, this months co-host is as multi-hyphenate as they come. A tarot reader and teacher, spiritual counsellor, ritual practitioner and massage therapist who specialises in providing trauma-informed care. Herr work is both earthy and ethereal. Grounded in humaness, attunement and ritual. Her presence is a bridge into deep realms, offering a somatic and mythopoetic journey through personal/collective archetypal themes and cyclical patterns. She will guide us gently and mystically through our card of the month (revealed on the night) has to teach us.
Space
This month we're popping up at Curate U, a sacred space for workshops, rituals, circles and connection.
The main space is wheelchair accessible however the bathroom is down 2 steps and is not.
Land
Tarot Club meets on stolen land. We choose to Pay the Rent with 10% of our profits honouring that sovereignty of First Nations people was never ceded.
